Facts

General:  Children under 12 are not allowed in the hospital, except on Sundays from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.  This does not include Maternity.  Visiting hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.  No more than three visitors are allowed per patient at a time.  Bringing food to patients is prohibited.  Waiting rooms are provided in the event visitors are asked to leave while a patient is given treatment or medication.

Intensive Care Unit: Two visitors from the immediate family may visit 10 to 15 minutes every two hours.

Surgery Waiting Room/Father's Waiting Room: A maximum of three visitors per patient is allowed.

Labor Room: One person only (usually expectant father or close relative) may remain continuously in the Labor Room and may visit and exit at any time.  However, there can be no exchange or visitors.

Delivery Room: Fathers may be present if they have completed a childbirth preparation course.

Maternity: General visiting hours are from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Sibling visiting hours are 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Fathers may visit anytime.

Nursery: Baby viewing is from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Siblings: Visiting hours are from 2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
